No matter what you do, it pays to have First Aid skills, because you can’t learn them in an emergency.
Would you know what to do if your child or loved one went into cardiac arrest? Performing cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) before emergency services arrive greatly increases their chance of survival. CPR is a life-saving technique that helps maintain some blood flow to the brain and heart. Knowing how to correctly perform CPR could be the critical difference.
Every year we host a CPR refresher course for our staff and patients, members of the public are invited to join us as well. We provide the venue, light refreshments and a supportive environment.
